TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions apply to all orders Bakesby_vita accepts.

COLLECTIONS

Collection is available on all orders, and is subject to available collection slots. A collection time must be arranged in advance. Changes to collection slots may not be available. Late show for your collection can result in you having to reschedule your slot, as i work from home often times i have other personal arrangements.

ALLERGIES & SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Please note, all my cakes contain gluten, dairy and eggs. Some of my cakes may contain nuts if they’re in the description, but even those that do not state nuts in the description, may contain nut traces.

If you are unsure, please contact me with any queries before ordering.

PAYMENTS

Products must be paid in full, the day before collection unless otherwise agreed. Failure to do so will result in your order being canceled and booking fee being retained to cover costs incurred.

BOOKING FEE

All orders over £20 require a booking fee to be paid via bank transfer or PayPal. This is non-refundable if you cancel your order. Your order is not confirmed until your booking fee has been paid and cleared.Orders under £20 must be paid in advance, in full. This is not refundable in the event of cancellation.Less than £20 – Full payment upfront £20 and more – 50% of full price booking fee

CHANGES TO ORDERS

Please note, any changes to orders must be made at least a week before your collection date. Changes may not be possible after this time, and may incur additional charges.

CANCELLATION

You are free to cancel your order at any time. Cancellations must be made in writing, and sent via email to mcbridevita@gmail.com In the event of a cancellation, any booking fee paid will be retained to cover materials purchased.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints are very rare and due to the amount of work put in to each individual cake we take them very seriously. Any issues must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of collection or delivery to give us fair opportunity to assess the nature of the complaint.
Both parties agree to not post any negative information about the other arising out of this contract or event on any online forum or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof and providing the other party with a prior opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.
Complaints regarding the decoration of celebration cakes can easily be repaired so errors of this nature must be pointed out upon delivery/collection so as to give us the opportunity to correct them. Once payment has been handed over this confirms that decoration is as requested, and no further claims can be made.
Where the complaint is in regard to the quality of the cake, then the cake or at least 80% of the remainder of the cake must be returned to us as soon as possible after cutting and within 24 hours of collection/delivery to ensure that we are able to fairly assess the nature of the complaint.

Please note we can only deal with the client who placed the original order.
